H2O Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment

Monday, August 11, 2014

I got this H2O Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment as a deluxe sample when I bought some other cosmetics. I have been using it for the past week or two, and I really do like it. I ran out of my normal serum, so I just decided to use this one. As with most gel type moisturizers, I found it to be a bit sticky. I prefer more of a standard cream or lotiony feel to my moisturizers.

That said, I liked this because it seemed to smooth away the fine lines a little. Not as well as my normal serum, but better than most moisturizers I have used. It is ok at moisturizing. I have normal/combination skin with some dry areas. I felt like I had to use an additional moisturizer on top of this on certain areas of my face.

But what I liked most about it is that it really seemed to keep my acne at bay. I have heard that marine ingredients can be good for helping prevent acne. Since I've been using this, I have not had to use acne medicine like I used to have to use it once or twice a day, and sometimes even more than that.

Once I'm out of my deluxe sample of this, I will see if my acne comes back. And if it does, I'm probably going to go out and buy a jar of this stuff. I do use a different anti-aging serum along with this on areas on my face that have more wrinkles, like the lines across my forehead. I also use an extra moisturizer on my cheeks because they get extra dry. But other than that, for these hot summer months, this H2O Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment works great.

Again, I don't like the stickyness, but I am willing to trade that for acne free skin!

I finally ran out of my normal night cream, and was trying to decide on a new one. I chose this H2O Face Oasis because I remembered how healthy my skin looked when I was using the sample. And I started breaking out really badly, probably from using a day time face cream (La Roche-Posay Mela-D Dark Spots SPF) that had some ingredients in it that my skin didn't agree with (like lactic acid and kojic acid). So since this H2O product worked so well for my acne, I got desperate and bought a jar of it.

But I got buyer's remorse and was hesitant to use it. My acne had settled down since I stopped using that other day cream. And I remembered that I had some other cream on my shelf that I could use as night cream. But alas, my acne came back and I remembered how oily the other night cream was. So I broke open the jar of blue gel that I had bought a few days before. And lo and behold, a few days later, I wondered why I had second-judged my purchase.

It is a miracle that the product is only retailed at $36. It is a wonderful night cream. I wake up looking much younger, with firm and plump skin, especially around my forehead, which is usually covered with wrinkles. I love this stuff. And my daughter loves it too. She always goes for my jar of blue whenever she does her facial routine. My only complaint is that it doesn't really leave a silky surface for applying foundation onto. So I may use it only as a night cream. Or maybe put a silkier primer or serum on top of it before foundation

I have been without this H2O Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment for a couple of days now. And I was very sad when I used the last drop and tossed the empty sample tube. I am still pondering buying the full product. But I absolutely love the other serum that I've been using the past couple of months that I might just go back to that.

So far, acne has still been under control. So if that continues, I might not get this H2O product. If acne comes back a lot, then I will probably get this H2O treatment mostly for the purpose of acne treatment. That way I don't have to dry out my skin with salicylic acid. I found Amazon to have the best price on this H20 Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment.

This H2O product has a few different types of seaweed, which I've heard is great for the skin. I'm not sure what other skin products out there have these types of active ingredients. But this product has been around for quite some time, and seems like it has been effective for many people, judging from the reviews.

This is definitely a product that I will keep in mind for acne control, and many other bennies. And thankfully it's not terribly expensive.
