2.0 out of 5 stars Poor Quality Control, December 16, 2014
This fitness bike seemed like a good deal from all the people giving it 4 and 5 stars, and I think it would be a good bike if not for the poor quality control/factory assembly. While this bike does require some pretty simple assembly, the meat and potatoes of the bike (the crank, chain and flywheel) come pre-assembled from the factory. I've only owned this bike 4 days, and I've already found 2 significant problems from the factory assembly.

The first problem was a obnoxiously loud clicking noise coming from around the flywheel as I pedaled. I traced this to the small plastic sensor attached to the flywheel that connects to the computer. The plastic was slightly deformed/broken causing it to catch every revolution and make a clicking sound. I simply disconnected the small metal piece (just one screw holding it) that connects to the flywheel and interfaces with the plastic sensor. This renders the computer useless, but I don't need it anyway. All it's good for is keeping... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm 6'0 190lbs and feels as comfortable on this baby as I do on my $4000 ..., February 11, 2016
I will start off by saying I'm a seasoned athlete not just a weekend warrior.I train in distance cycling and Krav Maga, however wanted to add a new tool to my workout toolbox. Those that said this bike is too small for tall people are idiots. I'm 6'0 190lbs and feels as comfortable on this baby as I do on my $4000 trek . The construction is superb and also a quiet ride. I set this up in front of a 176 hd projector and train using virtual cycling cds. After a month of riding about 5 hours a week I have ZERO COMPLAINTS. I just may get a second one for the wife.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pedal flies off, January 17, 2018
It's a great workout...until the pedal flies off mid-workout. I've only had it for about a month and the left pedal has flown off 3 times (once almost hitting my son while he was hanging out with me). The first week I did a straight, moderate 30 minute cardio workout. The next week I did a 30 minute HIIT workout and that was the first time the pedal flew off. I have a tool to screw it back on but it's annoying (and can be dangerous) anticipating when it will fly off again. Not even sure what to do about it. The seat can become uncomfortable after 30 minutes. I bought a gel seat cover but it wasn't much help. Anyway, other than the pedal, it's quiet and one can get a hood cardio workout done.
