4.0 out of 5 stars like a concealer stick, March 2, 2017

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I've never used a foundation that doesn't dispense from a pump. Instead it comes out on an oversized wand, like a concealer stick. I wasn't sure how to apply it. I didn't think it was wise to apply directly to my face (contaminating the wand with bacteria on my face) and I prefer to distribute foundation across my skin using a foundation brush instead of my fingers, so I scraped it off onto the back of my hand where I could dab the brush into the foundation before applying. The product is VERY thick. Visualize a very thick mousse dessert type of texture. To cover my entire face I had to dip the wand back into the container about four or five times.

Due to the thick creamy nature of the product, my skin didn't feel dry or flaky. It applies pretty smoothly. I'd say this has a "high" level of coverage. It's not very sheer or light, but that's OK with me.

I shared a photo with one side of the face clean and moisturized and the other side with the makeup... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Weightless Foundation with No Breakouts, February 26, 2017

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I do not wear makeup often because my skin is sensitive and I typically get a few breakouts after wearing makeup for a day. There are some brands I've found that don't irritate my skin badly but they're fairly expensive. I use several Neutrogena products, so I was hopeful this foundation would work for me.

I was surprised that it has an applicator attached to the top. At first, I thought it was kinda strange. But then I used it and it's brilliant. The applicator prevents you from having to turn the bottle upside down to get the foundation out. No, this isn't hard, but I have found with other foundations that I'll get too much out. Not with this simple little gadget!

The applicator seems to soak up a small amount that's equivalent to what I would use one each portion of my face: 1 cheek, forehead, chin, etc. I dab the foundation on my face and then rub it in with my finger. The foundation didn't leave any greasy residue on my fingers, and it felt weightless on my... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Overall I really like the feel of the product, but the shades are hard to match, March 5, 2017
I scoured the internet before buying this product, trying to find information on the shades and photos of color swatches, but didn't have much luck. So, I went to the drugstore so I could see it myself. After applying it, I realized I still bought the wrong shade. I bought Nude 40 because the Buff 30 seemed too pink, and I was afraid ivory might be too light.

When I first applied the product I thought maybe I had picked the right shade, but then it oxidized and looked a little darker / more orangey. I might be able to pull it off, and it'll definitely work in the summer, but I might go buy the natural ivory shade and mix the two. I've included two photos, one in regular indoor lighting and another in sunlight. I only used one coat, and the coverage seemed fairly light, which is what I wanted. Maybe because of the sheerness I can get away with the darker shade.

Overall I really like the feel of the product, and my skin feels really soft and smooth with it on.
