4.0 out of 5 stars Works for the price (good for TV or online school), December 27, 2017
As someone with a desk job and now online school, I have become very sedentary and was looking for something to use at work that wouldn't distract myself or my coworkers.

I bought this mini bike to try before buying a much more expensive version because I wanted to see if this was something I would actually use. I have used the bike for two hours daily at home since I received it about a week ago.

-Easy to use
-Compact size
-Setup took about 15 seconds
-Quite passive way to increase movement (Fitbit says my calorie burn is up a couple hundred a day)
-Increases heart rate, but not to the point that I'm getting really sweaty
-Cycle counter/timer works well

-You get what you pay for!
-Not very heavy/grippy so can move during use
-Has a tendency to squeak (so not great for work)
-Pedal movement is jerky (not smooth, would be really obvious I was using it under a desk)
-Tension... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Low Price, but High Quality, January 4, 2018
I was so skeptical when I ordered this item. I thought it would be flimsy, and might not work properly. I'm so glad I took the chance! It is very heavy and sturdy and extremely well-made. It is easier to use than my [more expensive] stationery peddler with handlebars and much less cumbersome. It doesn't skate around on the floor and the tension is adjustable to maximize the amount of effort required. I love it so much that I ordered one to keep under my desk at work.
I purchased it to use while out of town. I had planned to leave it with my relatives, but discovered that when folded, it is small enough to put in a carry-on bag when you fly. I can't say enough positive things about this item. It's the real deal!

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap crappy build, don't buy., August 25, 2017

I ordered this because I sit at a desk for eight hours a day and wanted to do something to try and lose some weight. I can't afford a gym, and don't have any spare time so just walking isn't much of an option. This seemed like a reasonable alternative. After about 10 minutes, I could smell hot electronics, so I stopped and waited half an hour. Started using it again, and with less than 30 minutes total of use the display stopped registering any sort of motion. The display has "STOP" on the left side of the screen and has been sitting for close to an hour at this point. Not sure if I can return it since I had to cut the foot straps off to use it. The straps are pretty small, and cannot be removed, so I could either use the bottom of the pedal and have the strap scraping the floor with every turn, or put my feet on top of said straps, which are smooth rubber.
