4.0 out of 5 stars Great bike, but be wary of the seat, September 27, 2010

This exercise bike is a good value for the money. It is quite sturdy for an inexpensive bike, works well, and is easy to put together. I also like the handlebars, so my upper body can be getting a workout while I'm pedaling instead of just my legs. I got this bike because I needed to rehab my knee after having microfracture surgery. The only reason I can't give this bike 5 stars is because of the hardness of the seat. Even though I purchased the Sunlite Gel Bicycle Seat Cover (which Amazon suggested in the Frequently Purchased Together section of the bike's webpage) at the same time that I purchased the bike, it barely makes a difference. After 30 minutes of riding, I am literally forced to get off of the bike. I also put a thick towel on top of the Gel Seat Cover, and even with that extra measure, my butt and family jewels are rendered numb from the hardness of the seat. I probably should have done more research on seat covers instead of simply buying the one that Amazon suggested... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Arm and Leg workout, December 9, 2015

The assembly wasn't too bad. It comes with tools to put it together, however, if you have them, use your own tools to avoid any frustrations.

The seat is uncomfortable, however, I read the reviews and anticipated this problem, but the price of the bike was easily remedied by buying a seat cushion for under $15.

It easily accommodates my wife and I, she is 5 Foot tall, and I am 5' 7, and we don't have to adjust the seat height when the other is using it. It has a digital display that tells you how many calories you burned during your session, as well as duration, how many miles traveled, etc.

There is also an adjustment for resistance for bigger calorie burning workouts.

For us poor folks, this will do, and we are happy with it. Hope this was helpful.

4.0 out of 5 stars After One Year The ins and Outs, January 23, 2014

The Body Flex BFR700/701 Is fluent bike that is smooth and easy on the joints. The frame is well made and sturdy. The display is easy to read while on the bike. You can easily get a nice fluent workout and if desired break a good sweat. I love the way it looks. I have lost 50lbs on this machine and now I would like to let you know what to expect from this bike as this one is my 2nd one. When I first started working out on this machine I weighed over the 250lb limit (285lbs) and it did great. Get a thick gel seat cover so the stock seat don't murder your butt. When putting it together I recommend the following: When assembling this bike put some locktite glue on the Left and Right Nylon Nut (#23L & 23R). The reason being is normal wear happens to these guys one day you will be in the middle of an awesome workout and all of a sudden one of your peddles will get loose a wobble to the point you have to get off and go get tools and tighten in back down....mine did this 3 times in one...
