Product Description
Product Description
Wisteria is vigorous, twining vines with wide landscape usage where space permits and gardeners are committed to keeping them in bounds. Among their attributes are hardiness, vigor, longevity and the ability to climb high. They are greatly valued for their large, pendulous flower clusters that occur in the spring. Flowers are pea-like and may be white, pink, lilac-blue, bluish-purple or purple in color. Family of Wisteria floribunda 'Chinese Wisteria'. Plant in moderately fertile soil in full sun/partial shade. This plant has a fast growth rate. Hardiness zones 5-9. If left to vine some type of support will be necessary as mature plants can be quite heavy. Wisteria climb best on wires, trellises, arbors and pergolas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Arrived quickly, plants arrived in very healthy condition., October 7, 2016
Jeremy Taylor
The plants arrived 3 days after placing my order. They came packaged and well protected in packing peanuts. In their expedient trip one tiny 2 .5 inch twig had broken off. The plants arrived looking very healthy. As I grew up on a nursery I can tell you that these plants are perfectly fine and will return from apparent death. they are shipped with small rooting pots covering their roots and a bit of dirt with packing tape over the top to hold the dirt in place.
Once they arrive place the roots in water (you may leave the plant in the pot at this time) When getting ready to transplant you will need to remove the pot and gently massage the mess of roots and dirt to loosen the ball of roots so that they will grow outward. This will alter the direction of the roots outward rather than a "rootbound" state and allow the plant to secure itself better and gather more water and nutrients. The main reason you will wish to loosen the roots is if there is a large section of roots in... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Budding Branches Packed Well., February 20, 2016

Second Update: New pic, 4 months later.
Update: I've been keeping them in a plastic green house in my kitchen for a few weeks and they are finally out (or coming) of dormancy. I'm so excited. One has a bud that grew over five inches without me even noticing and I tend to check on the plants daily or near daily. Another is just starting to come out of dormancy. Updated photos.

So far I'm very pleased. Plants were larger than expected and shipped with serious care. Check out these pics. I'm very hopeful of these plants. Will update with progress in a few months.
